Graff was struggling to build upon their existing POS system and we're looking to rebuild and redesign the full experience.

We designed an iPad app that matched the quality and elegance of their products and focused on usability, scalability and the needs of their internal teams.

I lead the design of the system from the initial pitch through to the implementation of the finished product, working with Graff's stakeholders and their development partner.

Our initial interviews revealed key themes that needed to be addressed in the re-design but our biggest take away was that the Graff team is global and the current system didn't take into account the cultural, language and geographic nuances of a global team.

Workarounds were created, usually outside of the system which didn't give Graff a true indication of the quality of their data. This became our north star, our statement of intent for the re-design. How do we develop a system that was inclusive for everyone and encourage the policing and cleansing of client data across the company.

We were in the unusual position of having full access to every person who would be using the system. We took full advantage of this and ran feedback and feature tests throughout the process, from initial flows and sketches through to build which allowed us to fully test that our solutions were meeting the needs of the users.
