We worked with Microsoft and Zero Carbon Futures to develop an immersive experience using hololens. The immersive application allows technicians to be educated about the process in a different environment, providing a cost-effective, time-efficient and safe training alternative for maintenance teams.

Working closely in the team I focused on the user flow and direction through the experience which allowed technicians to place a lifesize Nissan Leaf and follow and interact with the process of replacing the EV's batteries. A technician could navigate with a series of gestures through voice using Microsofts AI Cortana.

So the team could fully understand the flow through the experience I quickly developed a storyboard that mapped out the flow and handles the visual style of the assets and visual interactions were needed for the build.

Within a week we had a fully working prototype built on the hololens platform that could be tested with Nissans technicians and innovation team.

It was a great hands on learning experience working with the Microsoft team and to see first hand the power of the platform and it's applications as well as gaining valauable knowledge that I can take into future immersive projects.
